Do I need riding experience?
No. Most of our guests are first-timers. We match every rider with a calm, well-trained horse and a guide rides with you the whole time. Experienced riders can ask for a livelier horse and a faster pace.
How do I book and pay?
Choose your ride, pick a date and pay a 50% deposit online by card. The rest is paid before your ride starts.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation or a new date up to 24 hours before your ride. Later cancellations and no-shows keep the deposit. If we cancel for weather or safety reasons, you get a full refund or a new date.
Do you offer hotel pick-up?
Pick-up can be arranged from most hotels in Giza and Cairo. Select the pick-up option when booking, or send us your hotel name on WhatsApp.
What should I wear?
Long trousers, closed shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen. A helmet is provided free of charge.
Can children ride?
Yes, children are welcome. Tell us their age when booking and we will choose a suitable horse and a guide will ride next to them.
When is the best time to ride?
Early morning and sunset give the best light at the Pyramids and the coolest temperatures, especially from April to October.
How long is a ride?
The Great Pyramids ride lasts 1.5 to 3 hours. Every ride shows its duration on its page.
